Integrated science teaching materials with local wisdom insights to improve students' critical thinking ability

Critical thinking in science learning emphasizes students' knowledge and understanding of scientific concepts processes needed to make decisions real conditions. Students who have the ability think critically are expected be able face problems intelligently based on information live a better life. This study aims improve critical skills by developing teaching materials local wisdom. The results showed that carried out significantly affected level students, both viewed as whole (z=-4.731; p-value=0.000<0.05) or three aspects separately (p-value=0.000<0.05). this recommend use with wisdom materials, especially up ecosystem, must optimized, at school university levels.Abstrak Berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran sains menekankan pada pengetahuan dan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep-konsep ilmiah proses yang diperlukan untuk mengambil keputusan kondisi nyata. Mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir diharapkan mampu menghadapi masalah serta secara cerdas berbasis informasi agar dapat menjalani kehidupan lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan dengan mengembangkan bahan ajar berwawasan kearifan lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dilakukan mempengaruhi tingkat signifikan, baik dilihat keseluruhan (z=-4,731; p-value=0,000<0,05), maupun berdasarkan tiga aspek terpisah (p-value=0,000<0,05). merekomendasikan penggunaan lokal materi khususnya membentuk ekosistem perlu dioptimalkan, sekolah perguruan tinggi.
